Supported languages

DeepL only translates between certain languages. The extension uses this list:

bg_BG, cs_CZ, da_DK, de_DE, el_GR, en_GB, en_US, es_ES, et_EE, fi_FI, fr_FR, hu_HU, id_ID, it_IT, ja_JP, ko_KR, lt_LT, lv_LV, nb_NO, nl_NL, pl_PL, pt_BR, pt_PT, ro_RO, ru_RU, sk_SK, sl_SI, sv_SE, tr_TR, uk_UA, zh_CN, zh_TW.

Languages that aren't on this list are skipped — you'll see a message saying DeepL doesn't support that language.

Rich text

If a field uses a rich-text editor (bold, links, headings, etc.), DeepL keeps the formatting intact when translating. You don't need to tick anything extra — the extension detects rich text on its own.
